There are lots of great candidates for the 2020 TN Girls XC Runner of the Year in DII-AA.
We narrowed the field down to four.
Bella Guillamondegui (Harpeth Hall) had the best time out of this group. She ran 18:25.76 for an 11th-place finish at Jesse Owens down in Alabama early in the year.
An injury spoiled her state championship race. But she was able to still end her season on a high note with a 18:34.73 run at the RunningLane National Championship.
Baylor freshman Mae Mae Powe was the first runner to cross the line at state. The Chattanooga native ran an 18:47.30 for her best time of the year. She had three individual wins on the year.
Jessica Joshi capped off her senior year with a runner-up finish at state, clocking in at 19:14.51. And Girls Preparatory School senior Jane Eiselstein was the fourth-place finisher at state and highlighted her season with a 18:41.20 personal-best in October.
