Analysis:
As I've stated previously, when live-tweeting from Sanders Ferry Showdown I thought Independence beat Brentwood but I was wrong. While Independence 1-4 is clearly very strong, their 4-6 is not. Brentwood likely gets all 7 ahead of Independence's 5th.
Now Franklin and Father Ryan are tied but at Southern Showcase Franklin beat Father Ryan 131 to 163. Like I said, this system isn't perfect but these teams are closer than you think. In a dual meet setting Franklin wins 24 - 29.
I decided to include the highest-rated East Tennessee team in this because as we know, a team from that area has won the girl's title the last two seasons. While they may not be able to overcome Brentwood, no other team has a better split 2-6 than they do and that should be worth noting.
