Boys: McCallie is ready. They've been in the mix the past couple years during BA's unprecedented run. The Blue Tornado are experienced. They're deep. And they'll win their first state championship since 2013. Give credit to Ryan as well. They could average in the low-17s and still not win. DII-AA is deep this year.

Runner-Up: Father Ryan
Girls: The top two teams here aren't separated by much. This could be the closest team battle of the day. Both teams could have their first and fifth runners separated by about two minutes. The fifth runner will make all the difference here. I'll give the nod to Father Ryan, who's been on this course a couple times this season at the Metro Meet and AF Bridges. That added experience tackling Steeplechase could be the difference.
