What was your most memorable race/competition?

I would say that Nike Southeast Regionals from my senior year was memorable because it was incredibly muddy and sleeting rain the entire race. The course was soup.

Where did you face your biggest competition?

I regularly faced hard competition at the Trinity Valkyrie race in Louisville.

Out of all of your high school accomplishments, which stands out the most?

I would say earning my first state title in the 3200m this past season is the most important. It is the first state title in my High School's history.

If you could do it all over again, what would you change about your athletic career in high school?

I would train harder because practice makes perfect.

What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?

I ran the steeplechase. Those 36 inch barriers are difficult.

What will you miss the most?

I will miss the thrill of competing against local schools.

Do you have any advice for younger athletes?

Train hard, but not to the point of injury. Also, remember that if you are serious about running, don't let anything get in the way of training.

What are your post-high school plans?

I will be competing for the University of Alabama in Huntsville in Cross Country and Track.

Any shoutouts?

Shout out to Erik Popa and Parker Breitling, the heirs to Merrol Hyde Cross Country
