Hamilton and Masters qualify for the NAIA Nationals

Women 2nd, Men 3rd in region & 4th in AAC

Daniel Hamilton and Helania Masters qualified for the NAIA National Cross Country Championships  held at Wayne E. Dannehl Cross Country Course in Kenosha, Wisconsin beginning  at 10:30 am on Saturday November 18. Daniel, a freshman,  ran his fastest and best race of the year to earn the trip to Wisconsin. Helania who missed qualifying last season by one spot ran another solid race just missing her personal best time by one second.  In team action the women continue to have a stella season and finished second in both the Appalachian Athletic Conference and the NAIA Region XII championships that were held simultaneously on the Scyamore Shoals course in Elizabethton. Milligan College currently ranked number two in the NAIA polls won the title and qualified as the team representative. For the King men the third place finish in the Region XII competition was exciting but when the KIAC Conference competitors were pulled from the AAC scoring the men dropped to a disappointing fourth by only two points. Bryan College won the mens title and Milligan was second in both divisions. Union placed third in the AAC competition. Bryan will represent Region XII in the team competition at Nationals.
