Highland Games April 5
NOTE - This meet is limited to the first 16 teams. Registration will be closed after this time.
The 26th annual Highland Games will take place on Saturday, April 5. We have removed the Sprint Medley Relay but have added 100/110m Shuttle Hurdles. We will also, for the second year, include Unified Track and Field events.
The first 16 high teams to sign up will be entered.
Each team will be allowed one relay per event. New this year 100/110 Shuttle Hurdles.
Field events will be contested as a relay of three athletes, with the best mark from each athlete totaled. Minimum marks will be used for all field events except PV and HJ. The first mark will be measured. Throws and LJ will have four attempts. PV and HJ will have a seven jump max, per athlete.
Team tents and the athlete warm-up area will be held on the soccer field overlooking the track.
Anchor leg of the relay needs to need to check in with the clerk of the course to receive hip number. Field event athletes will check in at their event.
All winning relay teams will receive Highland Games t-shirts.
HS packet pick up and coaches meeting at 8:00 AM on Saturday. Coaches will be asked to run field events.
Meet fee is $120.00 when registering both boys and girls teams; $60 for only boys or only girls. Please bring check to the coaches meeting.
