COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Eastern Kentucky University men’s team sits in third place while the women’s team sits in seventh place after day one of the OVC Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Tucker Stadium on the campus of Tennessee Tech. Click here for complete day one results!

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Distance and Throws lead the Morehead State track and field team after day one action at the 2010 Ohio Valley Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Cookeville, Tenn., at Tennessee Tech’s Tucker Stadium. The Eagle men scored 16 points and will look to add to that mark with the final day of the championship drawing to a close tomorrow Saturday May 1.

The Southeast Missouri State track and field teams completed day one of the Ohio Valley Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships among the team leaders. The men's team is tied with defending champion Eastern Illinois with 27 points followed closely by Tennessee State with 26 points. The women's team sits in second place with 33.5 points behind Eastern Illinois 34 points.

With impending poor weather predicted for Saturday, the pole vault championships were moved up a day and the Austin Peay duo of Carrie Burggraf and Molly Bartkiewicz did not disappoint.
