Cross Country Information  
Region 3(a-aa,aaa) & Region 4(a-aa) 
 Chickamauga Dam (10-28-10)  $10/squad  
 
1. Registration is done online. This is basically a 4-step process. 
• Step-1: Log on to www.TennesseeRunner.com, go to the calendar, find the date 10/28/2010 and click 
on the “Online Entry” (Schools not set up on the site will need to first register their team and 
roster…then you enter the meet and finally select your athletes for the specific race they are to be in).  
• Step-2: The first step only enters your school…now you need specify the division and genders of the 
athletes to enroll in the meet. Click the button: “Enter Team”  to enter your athletes and they will 
race for. Only select the 10 girls and 10 boys who are qualified to run in the region (From these 10 and 
only these 10 can your team of 7 runners compete at the Region and State).  
• Step-3: Fill out the attached Official Region Form. Email, FAX, or mail one copy of this to the 
TSSAA, Region Director (Michael Fingerle is keeping paper work for Region 3 and 4), and keep a 
copy…These are the official entries. 
• Step-4: Collect signed waiver forms for the use of the TVA Chickamauga Dam. (If you ran in the 
Chattanooga Cross Country Festival, we already have a copy of this waiver for any athlete if you turned 
one in for them.) Turn these in at the registration table.

2. There is an entry fee: $10 Per SQUAD (squad = 1 to 10 individuals of the same gender) made payable to: 
Chattanooga Cross Country League. Bring this to the Region race.    >>> A late fee of $25 per school per 
day will be assessed for not registering your team before the Deadline (See TSSAA Rulebook).

3. Every Coach will be given a job during a division race your squad is not racing. You will either be 
marshal or working the finish chute. This race is too important for you to not do your job.  
 
4. All runners must be in proper, identical uniforms as per the National Federation Handbook. No jewelry other 
than a Running watch may be worn.  
 
5. Races will be scored by computer, but there will be a backup card score to verify the results and to be used 
in the event that the computer has a real problem. Be sure to turn in the envelope given to you with the 
names filled out immediately following the races. Runners will be required to wear a number bib then pull the 
tab off the bottom and give this to the official in the finish area once they finish the race. Teams will be 
Randomly assigned Starting boxes. 
 
6. Please be at the race course 10:00 AM (all races are listed as Eastern Time) 
 
7. Coaches Meeting 1:15 at the scoring table: Please nominate a course and a Region Director for next 
year, and fax the information along with your Registration Form. NOTE: The Boys Run First this Year!!!

Directions: Take I-75 to Hwy 153. Go north and exit at Amnicola Hwy. Turn right at the top of the ramp. At 
"T" turn left park. The parking lot is on the left.
