SATURDAY SCHEDULE CHANGE

Field events will start at 8AM

Running Events will start at 9:30AM

Awards Medals to the top three places, including relay members. Trophies to the top 2 teams (boys and girls). Special awards to the outstanding individuals (boys and girls) and a single outstanding performance of the meet.

Admission fee $10 per day

The entry fee is $150 per boys team and $150 per girls team.

Individuals are $20 per person, up to 6 athletes, otherwise team fee will apply.

We will follow TSSAA rules. A contestant shall not be entered in more than four (4) events. A contestant shall not compete in more than four (4) events.

OPEN Events & Limitations- 100/400/800/1600/SHOT/LJ/DISCUS- 5 entries

Unified Entry Limitations- Each team will be allowed a maximum of five (5) entries in each Unified event.

Varsity Entry Limitations- up to 5 entries for all events but must meet entry standard, 1 entry for relay teams. Athletes not meeting the standard should enter the OPEN division of the meet or run on relays.

No entry standards for hurdle races.

All heats will be seeded according to times given. Coaches CAN NOT override times. Coaches can email Coach Hamlett if a different seed time/mark is justified.

Field Events: All field events will be finals. Horizontal events (Throws, LJ, TJ) will receive 4 attempts.

Unified Events- we are excited to announce the addition of Unified Track to the Houston Classic. Special needs students from several local schools will have the opportunity of competing along-side their fellow student athletes in the following events: shot, long jump, 100M dash, 4x100M relay.
