Meet Information
We have been monitoring the Covid-19 situation closely and have been taking all the necessary precautions in order to provide a safe event for our athletes, coaches and spectators.
With that being said, we are still going to be holding the Pioneer Invitational this year, open to both MS and HS teams, while we continue to follow ALL the Covid protocols put in place so far by the Warren County School District AND the TSSAA. Because of this there have been a few changes to this years race in order to keep everyone who attends safe. Also, once you are registered for the race you will then be alerted if anything changes prior to race day. When attending the race the following will be REQUIRED: 1.) ALL athletes must have temperature taken by their coach prior to the race. 2.) ALL spectators will be required to have their temperature taken upon entry to the race. 3.) ALL athletes, coaches & spectators will be REQUIRED to wear a face mask during the event. Athletes may remove their face mask prior to their race but must wear one again when they are finished the race on their way back to their tent area. 4.) ANYONE who attend's this event must social distance themselves at all times during the event. Anyone who does not abide by the rules set in place for this event will kindly be asked to leave. We are VERY lucky that we have the opportunity to compete this season, so by having everyone follow ALL the guidelines set forth we can continue to have a successful season while keeping everyone safe!
The race DATE and TIME was changed and set to SATURDAY, AUGUST 29th. I will be holding a Zoom meeting on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 26th at 7:15pm to explain arrival, tent areas, race line and all other protocols put in place for race day. You MUST attend the Zoom meeting in order to be prepared to enter our venue. If you cannot attend please see email sent on how to contact me so we can discuss everything.
