2019 TMSAA Midstate Qualifier
ATTENTION!!!
Due to the very hot weather forecast this week, the event schedule will move up 30 minutes for each race.

A girl's varsity 8:00 am
AA girls varsity 8:30 am
A boy's varsity 9:00 am
AA boys varsity 9:30 am
Combined Girls JV 10:00 am (no official times taken)
Combined Boys JV 10:30 am (no official times taken)
Awards 11:00 am
Four Sectionals will be held across the state with the qualifiers advancing to the State
Championships. Due to the differing number of schools participating in each meet, the
following will be the number of qualifiers from this race: Murfreesboro will advance 52
qualifiers (top six teams and the next ten best times) from each classification.
Registration clarification/update:
Coaches, please register all of your runners under the varsity umbrella. At race time, you pick your top 7 to run, and your remaining runners will run in the non-timed JV race. Make sure every runner competes with a bib and that your school races in the correct division:A or AA. Info can be found at TSSAA - School Directory.

Registration ends on Wednesday night, Sept 25 th at 11:00 pm. No additions may be made after
this time.

This race is a TMSAA qualifier for the TMSSAA State Championships. All entrants in this race
must be from a TMSAA member school- no exceptions. Only 6th, 7th, and 8th graders may
register.
Meet Fees: The cost will be $50 per team, or $100 for both a girl's and boy's team entry. Fees
must be sent to the TSSAA.All fee questions must be directed to the TSSAA/TMSAA.

Attach a note stating it is for TMSAA Sectional Cross Country, and note if it is for girls, boys, or
both. Send this to the attention of: Allison Bryan.
Coaches - you must run in the correct TMSAA assigned division. Check the TSSAA/TMSAA
website to find your division.
When registering, enter all of you runners, then choose up to 7 at race time to run for your
varsity. All runners not entered into the varsity race by you can then run in the JV race.
Awards will be provided by the TSSAA/TMSAA
