2018 TMSAA Midstate Qualifier

Coaches,

I have tried multiple times to send out mass Tn Runner e-mails today to no avail. 

1. The meet is on. If there is lightning, then there will be a 30 minute delay for each event. 

2. If we have a storm, everyone must go to either a vehicle or the gym.

Despite the cancellation of this year's Warrior, this race will remain at Riverdale, but on a changed course.

A course preview will be made available on Thursday, September 20th from4:00 - 7:00 pm only. A course map is now availableon the MSCCA website.

Meet Information

Updated information can be found as we approach race date both here and on the TMSAA website.

Registration ends on Tuesday night, Sept 18th at 11:00 pm. No additions may be made after this time.

This race is a TMSAA qualifier for the TMSSAA State Championships. All entrants in this race must be from a TMSAA member school - no exceptions. Only 6th, 7th, and 8th graders may register.

Four Sectionals will be held across the state with the qualifiers advancing to the State Championships. Due to the differing number of schools participating in each meet, the following will be the number of qualifiers from this race: Murfreesboro will advance 43 qualifiers (top five teams and the next eight best times) from each classification.

Meet Fees:

The cost will be $50 per team, or $100 for both a girl's and boy's team entry. Feesmust be sent to the TSSAA. All fee questions must be directed to the TSSAA/TMSAA.

Attach a note stating it is for TMSAA Sectional Cross Country, and note if it is for girls, boys, or both. Send this to the attention of: Allison Bryan.

Coaches you must run in the correct TMSAA assigned division. Check the TSSAA/TMSAA website to find your division.

When registering, enter all of you runners, then choose up to 7 at race time to run for your varsity. All runners not entered into the varsity race by you can then run in the JV race.

A girl's varsity 8:30 am

AA girls varsity 9:00 am

A boy's varsity 9:30 am

AA boys varsity 10:00 am

Combined Girls JV 10:30 am (no official times taken)

Combined Boys JV 11:00 am (no official times taken)

Awards 11:30 am

Awards will be provided by the TSSAA/TMSAA

Tee-shirts will be available from Eagle Sportz. Kona Ice will also be on-site.
