1:00 Coaches Meeting
FIELD EVENTS
Check In at the Field Event Venue
11:00AM Weigh In and Warmups for Pole Vault
NOTE: Pole Vault (If there are 4 or fewer Vaulters per gender- All will advance automatically to the Section 2 Meet with best verifiable height). We will let you know this before May 3 so you do not have to transport poles unnecessarily.
12:00PM (Noon) Vaulting Begins
IMPORTANT NOTE: IF POLE VAULT ENDS before 2:30, we WILL START ALL OTHER FIELD EVENTS as much as 1 HOUR Earlier than posted time
1:30 Begin Weigh ins for throwing implements-
2:30 - All other Field Events Begin
GIRLS- Shot Put, Long Jump, Triple Jump
BOYS- High Jump, Discus
Rotate Events on the PA Call
RUNNING EVENTS- Girls then Boys - All Races will be Section VS Time
IMPORTANT NOTE: If FIELD EVENTS END before 5:00, we WILL START RUNNING as much as 1 HOUR earlier than posted time except for 4x800 Relay
CHECK IN for Running Events at the benches. Listen for the calls. Go at FIRST CALL. Athletes will stay in the bullpen area but may warmup/stretch in that area. They will be escorted to the events except for Hurdles. Hurdlers may warmup at the hurdle area BUT remain there until race time/Third Call.

5:00PM - Remaining Running Events starting with 100/110 Hurdles - Rolling Schedule
General Information:
* ENTRY FEE- $10 per athlete up to $40.00 per gender team - $80.00 Maximum per school for both genders. This is to help pay for timing, TSSAA official, Athletic Trainers, and security.
* The top 4 individuals and relay teams in each event will advance to the TSSAA D1 Large School Section 2 Meet which will be held at Rhea County High School, Friday, May 10. The same Meet Schedule will be used for the Section 2 Meet.
* You must register your teams and athletes online at :
If you manually enter a seed time to get in the meet, they will be seeded according to verifiable performances only. All No Marks (which there should be none at this point) will be placed in slowest heats for running events or placed at the bottom of field events.
* Please provide coaches to work Field Events and Relay Zones. If you have a Field Event you want to work, we will do everything we can to accommodate you. Please email requests to Coach Steffan Holder at holders1@rheacounty.org
* There will be 2 Trainers on duty
* There will be a $5 admission for all non-competitors. Ten and under will be free.
