Additional Notes-A Freshman/JV division for the Shot Put, Long Jump, 1600, 100 and 400 will be offered. These events are being offered so those athletes can have an opportunity to participate and experience an invitational type meet. They will be awarded medals but will not be included in the team scores.
A middle school 1600 will be offered. This event is open to the first 15 girls and boys who register or contact Coach Harman.
Entry Fees:
The entry fee will be waived this year.
Thank you to those who participated last year! Hopefully Mother Nature will be kind this year.
Entry Deadline:
Opens Monday, March 21 and will close Thursday, March 31, 2016 @ 5:59 pm.
Event Check In:
Field Events- Athletes will check in at the event location.
Running Events- Athletes will check at the tent located on the infield to receive their lane assignments and hip numbers.
Coaches Meeting:
No coaches meeting. Coaches can pick up their team packets at the main gate both Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.
Hospitality:
A hospitality room will be provided. The hospitality room is located on the other side of the building that backs up to the track.
Admission:
$7 per day.
Awards:
Medals will be awarded to the top three places in both the Varsity and JV divisions. The Middle School 1600 will be awarded medals too. A Team Champion trophy will be awarded to the top boys and girls team. Plaques will be awarded to the meet MVP's.
Entry Limitations:
Each team will be allowed a maximum of three (3) entries in each individual event and one (1) entry in each relay event. We will follow TSSAA rules. A contestant shall not be entered in more than four (4) events, excluding relays. A contestant shall not compete in more than four (4) events, including relays.
EXCEPTIONS:
Each team will be allowed to enter 7 athletes in the JV events.
Qualifying Standards: THERE ARE NO QUALIFYING STANDARDS. All heats will be seeded according to times given. False entry times will result in a NT. Email Coach Harman at kharman@bartlettschools.org if you would like an exception made.
