Meet Information
The Optimist Meet is Thursday, April 5, at GPS. Entries must be submitted online through DirectAthletics.com by 3:30 on Tuesday, April 3. You may submit your entries any time between now and Tuesday afternoon. Looking forward to seeing you on Thursday.
parking will be at a premium today. YOU may park your car or van on the field next to the GPS softball field. Enter the gate near Heritage Landing along the river. No busses.
bring your entry fee to me when you arrive - $ 3 per athlete / $10 per team / $20 per school with both boys and girls teams. This nominal fee covers the cost of the DirectAthletics service.
communicate to your runners that they must report to the bullpen by second call. If they miss roll call, they will be scratched from the event.
make field event scratches or substitutions at the event site.
bring me a list of running event scratches or substitutions and give it to me with your entry fee. Make sure the list has your school name clearly printed on it.
