Meet Information
Coaches, parents and athletes - Collectively the Regional Directors and Meet Management would like to thank you for participating in this the second Tennessee State Middle School Cross Country Championships. There are many things that we need to work on to improve this meet and the concept for this competition going forward. Without you however we would not be able to continue to provide a venue to kids to establish memories that will last a lifetime. Much 11th hour controversy surrounded this event - yet coaches, athletes and parents prevailed -- for the sake of the kids. I you feel that our kids deserve an opportunity to participate in post season events without restrictions placed upon them please contact your state representative, sponsors of this organization or you local school board. Our kids deserve to be represented by an organization which fosters opportunities for participation rather than restricts it.

West = West of the Tennessee river
Middle =Tennessee river to a line drawn north and south diagonally through Cookville and Tullahoma
Tri-Cities = everything north and east from the Cookville/Tullahoma line and Morristown.
Knoxville = East of the Cookville/Tullahoma line and between
Morristown and Sweetwater.
Chattanooga = Everything south and east of Sweetwater and the Cookville/Tullahoma line.
*Note* If your team is near a boundary and would like to compete in another region, please contact us. We can make exceptions to the regions but you will only be allowed to attempt to qualify at one regional meet. (you may run all the regional meets, but you can only qualify in your region)
