25th ANNUAL FRANK HORTON XC INVITATIONAL hosted by Christian Brothers High School
Christian Brothers High School is inviting you to the 25th Annual Frank Horton Invitational in Memphis, TN. This years edition will be run on September 28, 2013. Again for the 2013 season, the Horton will be run jointly with the Rhodes College Invitational. The two events together on the newly designed and spectator friendly course will provide a great opportunity for athletes, coaches, and parents to experience cross country in the unique atmosphere of a large competitive meet. Each of the varsity races will be chip timed.

8:00 a.m. - Frank Horton Invitational High School JV Race (combined) - 5k
8:30 a.m. - Frank Horton Invitational High School Girls Race - 5k
9:00 a.m. - Frank Horton Invitational High School Boys Race - 5k
9:30 a.m. - Rhodes College Invitational Women's Race - 6k
10:15 a.m. - Rhodes College Invitational Men's Race - 8k
Awards
Top 2 teams in each varsity race
Top 20 individuals in each HS race
Race Fees
Varsity Race Teams
Teams can have 8 members
Limit 1 boys team and 1 girls team per school
Cost is $50 per team
JV/Open Race Teams
Can have unlimited members
Cost is $35 per team
up to 20 participants included
$2.50 for each additional team member
3 or less on a team, fee is $15 per participant
The Course
Plough Park, located off Walnut Grove Road, between I - 240 and Germantown Rd. Course is on the Mullins Station Road entrance. Mostly grass with rolling hills and section of dirt trails. Wide open except for the dirt trails. Course is measured to 5K on the nose with time clocks at every mile marker!
