The race formerly known as the Cleveland Professionals Firefighters 5K has now been taken over by the Cleveland Shrine Club. After the CPFFA Local 3748 opted against having the road race this year. The Cleveland Shrine Club was contacted and they were more than willing to take over the event. All proceeds raised by this road race will go to the Shrine activities (Shrine hospital and transportation fund).
The Shriners Hospitals for Children is a network of pediatric specialty hospitals, founded by the Shrine, where children under the age of 18 receive excellent medical care absolutely free of charge.
We are very excited about the change that has taken place and look forward to having this race for many years to come. Please come take part in our event to help raise money for the children.
