The highest Knox Catholic was ranked in our coaches poll in 2023 was sixth but debut at the top in 2024 after returning all seven varsity runners from last years' squad.
Preseason Rankings - Boys
For the second edition of our MileSplit Tennessee Coaches' Poll, voters were provided the Top 20 teams based on our returner team rankings feature and asked to rank the top ten in order. Teams were awarded points based on votes then divided by the number of voters to provide a rating index. Much like the BCS Rankings from college football, 1.000 would be considered a perfect team rating meaning every voter ranked your team number one. Here are the rankings based off those results.
