Even in a downpour, Claire Stegall set a new State Meet Record in the 800m run winning her second event of the championship with a 2:08.63.

For the first time in three years the honor of Tennessee Track and Field Player of the Year is awarded to someone other than Mensi Stiff. Nolensville's Claire Stegall finished her junior season with All-Time and State Meet records in 800m and 1600m events as well as US Top 10 marks for both of those distances.
