Christian Academy of Knoxville's Antiya McAlister has been running track for a long time. Her first documented time on her athlete profile dates all the way back to 2013 where she placed 3rd and 4th in the 100m and 200m dash events at the AAU Area 6 Qualifier running 16.09 and 34.98. Over the next ten years she has improved those times all the way down to 12.35 and 25.63 and enters her senior year ranked 12th overall in the 100m dash and 17th overall in the 200m dash. In anticipation of her final season, McAlister sat down with us to discuss her career to this point, goals for the spring, and side hustle as a fashion designer.
