Nashville PR 3200m
The 11th Annual Nashville PR 3200m event will be held on Saturday, November 12th on Brentwood Academy's fast track from Noon until 4:00 PM.
Gate will open at 11:00 AM. This is a great opportunity to parlay your great cross country fitness into fast track times on the lightning-fast BA track.
This is an "Open" meet so middle school, high school and runners of all abilities are welcome. A time-efficient meet with 3200m (8-lap) races, seeded by ability, going off like clockwork every 15-20 minutes.
Races are divided by ability (not gender) and athletes will have the opportunity to seed themselves into heats based on their goal times. Pacing will be provided for the first 2-4 laps of each race to help ensure PR's! An average of 75% of the runners have raced a new 3200m PR at this event.
TEAM NASHVILLE is a sponsor providing free shoes to the top Boy and Top Girl as well as the best PR. Medals will be awarded based on the best PR's.
One goal of the Nashville PR 3200m meet is to raise awareness and help bring the community together around alleviating hunger in our hometown. We will again have donation buckets for food items.
