WATCH: Kylan Bernard Runs 13.69, TN #2 All-Time 110m Hurdles

#2 All-Time

Death. Taxes. Kylan Bernard overtaking competitors over the last 5 hurdles. It's like when you watch Devon Allen or Joseph Fahnbulleh race. They're not going to wow anyone with their ability to win the first 30 meters but they will raise your blood pressure as they slowly but surely close the gap on their competitors and in most cases come away with a victory.

Kylan's 13.69 is the #2 All-Time mark in Tennessee history for all weather conditions. The winds for this race was +3.7m/s which is above the legal limit and after a season of racing into headwinds, I will welcome any trailing wind at this point.

Bernard narrowly missed the #1 all-time mark that belongs to Brevin Sims formerly of CLAS who now runs for the University of Arkansas who ran 13.68 in 2019.

Here is a look now at the Top 5 All-Time marks.

Bernard will be headed to Meridian this fall. Congratulations to him on his shiny new PR and victory before heading to college.
