Even though a lot of teams haven't debuted their squads yet this season, many of the top contenders have already hit the course to get the 2020 Tennessee cross country season started.
Franklin High School leads the way in our first Top 10 Team Rankings update of the year.
With a win over stellar competition at Sanders Ferry, Franklin's 16:52 average time leads the way in Tennessee so far this year. Hudson Hurst, Eli Zani and Graham Ferguson are all in the state's top 15 so far.
With a trio of guys under 16:50 already this season, this group is going to be dangerous all year.
Hardin Valley Academy raced for the first time this past weekend and took a big team win at the Knoxville Livestock Center Classic. Mitchell McCown and Kaden Keller are a solid 1-2 punch for a team that returns a lot of guys from last year's roster.
