All of our preseason rankings for the upcoming 2020 cross country season based on season-best times from 2019.


Nine of the top ten teams in Division One Large Schools return at least five of their runners from the 2019 state championship meet.

That's pretty good.

Signal Mountain is coming off a fantastic performance in 2019. The Eagles were the only team under 100 points and only had 24 seconds separate their first and fifth runners.

University School of Johnson City returns six of its runners and will look to get back on the podium in 2020 as well. They've stood atop that podium twice in the past five years, winning back-to-back titles in 2017 & 2018.

Defending individual champion Seth Jinks is gone. So is runner-up TJ Martin. 

We'll have a new champion this year in a tightly-packed league at the top.
