Rebecca Story had quite a weekend in Kentucky at the Eastern Relays. On Friday, Story dominated the 3200 meter race winning by a margin of 10 seconds with a season best time of 10:15. The performance by the junior at Christian Academy of Knoxville also ranks her US #8 in the country. Another Tennesseean in Ravenwood's Annika Sleenhof also turned in a strong personal best effort in third place in the same race with a time of 10:32.
On Saturday, Story doubled back to pick up her second win in the meet in the mile. Her closest challenger once again was one of Kentucky's best in Michaela Rinehart, who pushed Story until the final lap as she broke away to win in a time of 4:56.
