Virginia All-State standout Hall signs with Lady Buffs

Milligan College, Tenn. (Mar. 12, 2008) --- Milligan College head coach Chris Layne announced this week that Pulaski Country (Va.) senior Sabrina Hall (Pulaski, Va.) has signed with the Lady Buffs.

Hall is having an outstanding senior season for Cougar head coach Jamie McCarty after earning a top ten finish at the 2007 Virginia State Cross Country Championships. She recently finished 5th in the mile at the Virginia Indoor State Championships with a personal best time of 5:17 and also earned All-State honors in the two-mile. She owns a 5k best of 18:32 and a two-mile best of 11:36.

Hall chose Milligan over the University of Memphis and Eastern Kentucky University. "Sabrina took her time and made a decision that benefits not only her future as a runner, but her future as a person," said McCarty.

Hall, who has served as the Pulaski Country team captain the last three years, owns every school record and since her freshman year, has earned 35 All-District, All-Region, and All-State honors.

"Sabrina will come to Milligan well coached and highly motivated to impact this program. She has excelled in every aspect of her life, and I'm looking forward to working with her for the next four years," said Layne.
