MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (December 17, 2007) --- Milligan head coach Chris Layne announced this week that Anderson County High School's Justin Bryant (Lake City, Tenn.) will compete for Milligan College in 2008.
Bryant, a senior for Coach Al Rodd, finished 8th in the decathlon at the 2007 Tennessee State Track and Field Championships in Murfreesboro last spring. "Justin will concentrate on the middle-distances, and his all-around athleticism will certainly make for an easier transition," said Layne.
Bryant, the son of Melanie Braden and Randy Bryant, is also a standout in the classroom receiving the Anderson County Exemplary Student honor. He plans to major in pre-med, and enjoys playing drums and guitar in his spare time.
