Texas has no shortage of depth in the short sprints. Bennet is the one of many who will look to shine not just locally, but also at the national level. She owned the top spot on the podium through most of her 2014 season, finishing off with a 3rd in the 100m and 5th in the 200m at the UIL Championships. With the majority of the top 100/200 athletes being seniors, they will all be fighting hard to finish their careers with 1st place finishes.
