On May 1st Tennessee Wesleyan signed Chaz Hawkins to the growing sprint roster. He is currently the state champion in the 110 hurdles as well as being very competitive in the 300 hurdles. He will be attending Tennessee Wesleyan on an academic scholarship. “Chaz is the perfect example of a student-athlete; being competitive both on the track and in the classroom”, said Coach Jakubowski. “He will undoubtedly set an example in both areas for the team.” Chaz will be joining a team that has grown in size and talent tremendously during its first two years as a program, winning the AAC conference championship earlier this spring.
