--NO STANDARDS for RELAYS - All relay teams can participate in the meet - one relay team per school per gender per relay event.

--Point of Emphasis - IF NONE OF YOUR ATHLETES MEET THE MINIMUM STANDARD IN A SPECIFIC EVENT, YOU ARE ALLOWED 1 ENTRY IN THAT EVENT EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVEN'T MET THE MINIMUM STANDARD.

Example #1: You have 2 boys, neither have met the 5:10 - 1600 Standard. You are allowed to enter 1 of the boys as your school's entry even though he hasn't met the standard.  You may not enter both.

Example #2: You have 3 girls, 1 has met the 13.50 - 100M Standard. Since you have a runner that has met  the standard, you are only allowed to enter that runner. You cannot enter the other two runners.

--Maximum 3 entries per school per open event and 1 team per school per relay.

--Times MUST be FAT (3200 run can be hand timed) and the STANDARD MUST BE MET OR BETTERED.  Example:  the 200 meter Standard for meet entry for the girls is 30.00.  An athlete with a recorded time of 30.01 will not earn entry.  Example:  the Long Jump Standard for meet entry for the boys is 17' 6".  An athlete with a recorded jump of 17' 5.75" will not earn entry.

-Coaches should use the regular season to give their athletes every opportunity to meet or exceed the Standards
