Meet Information

Entries: 

Athletes can only compete in 3 total events

Regional meet is the best of the best working towards the state championship. 
These are the minimums to enter an athlete into the event. Per TSSAA rules, each school is allowed at least 1 entry in each event.  With that stated, it is highly recommended that we stick to the minimums, as the top athletes in each event are at much higher levels than the minimums are set.

8:00 am Gates will open

8:30 am Implement weigh-in will take place at the registration tent. 

9:15 am coaches meeting will take place at the registration tent.

10:00 am field events will start

12:30 pm running events will start (pending the completion of field events)

Regulations:

All uniforms must follow the NFHS Rules. The official will warn every participant before the meet that they must compete in a legal uniform. If a contestant competes in an illegal uniform, that contestant is disqualified from that event. There are no team warnings or individual warnings after the meet begins. Officials should use preventative officiating as much as possible.

Everyone must report to weight in for implement to be approved. 

4kg shot put for boys and 6lbs for girls

1kg for discus

Spectators: 

Gate will be both givebacks and cash. 

A concession stand and food trucks will be present

Spectators are not allowed in the event areas or inside the track. If a parent is found in an off-limits area, their athlete will be disqualified from the competition. Spectators are allowed to move around the outside of the track area to sit and watch discus and high jump events along the fence or in the outside lanes for shot put and long jump. This is for everyone's safety and to ensure the meet runs efficiently.
