Meet Information
USN HS Meet #2 4/02/26
Location: USN River Campus, 1200 County Hospital Road, Nashville, TN 37218
Participating Schools: TBD
Entries: Considering the volume-to-time ratio, teams will be limited to 3 entries per individual event and 2 entries per relay event (A and B relay teams). In accordance with TSSAA regulations, an athlete may enter up to 4 events, including relay events.
Except for the decathlon and pentathlon, all TSSAA-approved meet events will be offered.
Entry Fee: $75 for women's team; $75 for men's team; $125 if entering both a women's and a men's team. Entry fee payments will be collected on meet day during the coaches' meeting.
Please make checks payable to: University School of Nashville
Coaches Meeting: We will meet at 3:30 pm at the finish-line tent to confirm field event coverage. Please be prepared to provide 2 to 3 coaches and/or athletes to help run field events. Event coverage sign-up sheets will be made available a week before the meet to help facilitate this process.
Field Event Safety and Access: Field event areas will be staffed beginning 30 minutes before the start of each event for warmups and walkthroughs. Before that time, all athletes must be supervised by a coach and may not be left unattended in any field event area. The shot put and discus areas will be closed and off limits when not actively staffed by a USN or volunteer staff member. Athletes are not permitted to enter these areas unless event staffing is in place.
Teams are responsible for ensuring athlete compliance with these safety procedures.
Scratches/Substitutions: Please submit any scratches/subs in writing at the coach's meeting, and we will do our best to accommodate. No additions will be permitted once the running events begin.
Meet Schedule: Field Events will begin at 4 pm. The 4x800 will begin at 4:45. All other running events will begin by 5:15 pm. Women compete first, followed by men. We will combine women's and men's events if and when possible and appropriate.
Meet Program: We will email the meet program out on meet day morning, after all entries have been submitted.
Parking: Buses and team vans can park in the gravel area just past the first parking lot, designated as Bus Parking.
Team Staging: Teams are encouraged to set up team tents outside the track along the green fence.
Inclement Weather: Hopefully weather won't be an issue, but if necessary, the coaches will make a "game time" decision on whether to delay, call, or reschedule the meet.
Timing: All events will be timed using our Finish Lynx system, and results will be emailed out and posted to MileSplit within 24 hours.
Athletic Trainer: We will have our two ATs on site to help with any athlete needs.
