Walters State Senators Cross Country Middle School Invitational Only
EVENT DATE: Friday, August 22, 2025
Location: 500 South Davy Crockett Parkway Morristown, TN 37813
Across from the the main campus at the gravel parking area. Signs will be posted.
Parking will be limited to the Gravel parking for handicap and buses, all others will need to park on the main campus and walk across the overpass for the meet. Bathrooms will be available in the library and a port a potty at the field.
College race will follow middle school.
4:00 p.m. - Packet pick up opens, Course will be available for warmup till 4:40.
5:00 p.m. - Middle School Girls report to the start 4:50 p.m. - Middle School Girls 2mile Race unlimited
5:20 p.m. - Middle School Boys report to the start 5:30 p.m. - Middle School Boys 2mile Race unlimited
Awards ceremony - immediately following the Middle School 2mile Race
Course Information: The course is generally set up as a spectator-friendly 1 mile loop. The course is grass and dirt and it is considered rolling and fun. There are two bridges to cross and lots of shade. Spectators will get to see participants multiple times during the race.
Entry Fee:
Middle School: $50.00 per team/$100.00 for both male and female.

Due to rule changes no middle school individuals will be allowed unless they are on an officially registered team in the state.
All college entries should be completed online through Direct Athletics at DirectAthletics.com by Wednesday, August the 20th, at 5 p.m.
Middle School entries should be completed online at tnmilesplit.com by Wednesday, August the 20th, at 5 p.m.
Signage will be in place to direct vans and buses to the appropriate lot(s).Packet Pickup: Team packets with race numbers, timing information and starting box assignments will be distributed from the red top tent set up near the finish/start area.
Restrooms & Team Tents: Restrooms for both participants and spectators will be available in the Library. Team tents will need to be setup across from the course in the grass.
Timing & Results: The races will be timed by provided by werunfaster.com or their associates will feature live statistics.. Meet results will be loaded to TFRRS or tnmilesplit.com immediately following both races. All times, places and team finishes will be distributed digitally. Awards: The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams for both genders will receive plaques
Top ten individuals in each race will receive T-shirt.
