Meet Information
Zion Christian Academy is located 7-miles southwest of Columbia, Tennessee in Maury County. We are a TSSAA affiliated private school. We are a small but growing team (Zxc), and we host races on our campus every year. Like you, we look forward to another great season of cross country!
Our 2025 Zion home races include:
Monday evening, August 25th
Monday evening, September 29th (Senior Run)
We will honor ALL seniors at that event. Please feel free to bring items to give to your seniors on the field.
Search MileSplit for the other events if interested. Ideal participants would be from Maury, Hickman, Lewis, Lawrence, Giles & Marshall counties in southern Middle Tennessee. We welcome XC teams/individuals from public and private schools, school affiliated clubs and even homeschoolers. Our meets consist of Middle School (2-mile) and High School (5000m) divisions for both Girls and Boys.We have a single loop track with a few unique details. Loop is 95% grass, with some slight pavement crossings and a single wooden bridge over a small creek. Running mostly in hay fields and wooded areas on well mowed grass running lanes that are roughly 6-foot wide. Plenty of room for passing. Lots of switch backs relative to elevation, making it a challenging course. Plenty of room for team tents & chairs. Friends, family and coaches can view runners at the start, end and roughly mile 2 from the football stands area.
DETAILS:
- Team set up starts at 3:45pm - DO NOT ARRIVE EARLY. School dismissal is at 3:15pm and we do not want XC teams/parents interrupting our standard dismissal patterns for non XC students. Please view race map for parking areas upon arrival. Most parking will take place in the lower field.
- PLEASE CHECK IN IMMEDIATELY UPON ARRIVAL - please pay your fees if they have not been already and pick up your team packet with race bibs. PLEASE outfit your Middle School Girls with their race bib first so they are ready for the first race.
- Team set up takes place on the football field. Please be respectful of our field and do not tear it up. We ask that NO STAKING take place for flags or tents. All tents, chairs and coolers must be hand carried up the hill onto the football field. Please only bring what is necessary. The area is tight and there may not be room for everything.
- Football stands are open to spectators and are a great place to sit and watch the action.
- Professional race timing done by Right Time Race Timing.
- Opening prayer and national anthem at 4:20pm
- Middle School Girls (4:30pm w/ 30-minute cut off)
- Middle School Boys (5:00pm w/ 25-minute cut off)
- High School Girls (5:25pm w/ 40-minute cut off)
- High School Boys (6:05pm w/ 35-minute cut off)
- Race time cut offs are required to keep the event on time. We have a cross where the start line and finish line enter the football field area. We will strive to allow everyone to complete their races, but at the start times of each race IF there are still runners on the course from the previous race we may "pause" them close to the finish line to allow the next race to start.
- We will do the middle school awards DURING the High School Girls race after it has started. After middle school races have been completed and the awards have been passed out, middle school teams and families can depart. Please be aware of active runners on the course when you are leaving the property. High School awards will be done after the completion of the High School Boys race.
- High School only teams can arrive late, just be sure to not interrupt active runners when entering the area. If you plan to arrive late, you may not be able to set up a tent because the area all around the tent area is the active race track.
- Sports entrance is closed 10-minutes prior to the High School races - The race path crosses the road.

- $45 per individual event (MSG/MSB/HSG/HSB), max $150 per school
