Greetings,
The Dead End Meet at Knoxville West HS is an All-Comers Meet, serving as the last opportunity for teams to qualify for Sectionals. Although the main purpose is to help qualify, it can be used as a last chance for athletes to compete who know their season is ending without a Sectional mark. If you still have room on your schedule and could use a last chance meet, we'd love to have you out there. Medals will be awarded to Top 3 finishers in each event; Freshmen sections also awarded Top 3. Coaches, officials, and volunteers will be fed lunch by Dead End BBQ. Concessions will be available to spectators. $6 gate fee for spectators.
***Seniors from all teams will be recognized with a senior lap at 10:40am. (optional participation).*** Coaches, your entries will be used to gather all senior names for this event.
*POLE VAULT COMPETITION* Pole vault will take place on Friday, May 1 @ Farragut High School. Competition will be Girls and Boys combined beginning at 5 pm.
Absolutely no pets allowed inside track meet!
Entry Fees: $75 per team (Girls and Boys are separate teams). $15 per individual athlete

Freshmen sections are now going to be combined with the open sections. We will still have medals for the top freshmen in the 100, 400, and 1600.
Meet Info: Athletes are limited to 4 events only. All field events are 4 attempts. West HS Track requires spectator awareness to stay safe and not interfere with track meet. Please follow all signs and do no cross rope or tape. Paths around facility will be clearly marked as well as tent areas (no seating or tent setup in areas between the track and white paint lines; needs to be open for foot traffic). Tents can be put at top of stands on both sides except in front of press box. Check in and staging area will be on the infield. Athletes will need to be back at check-in area 10 minutes before event, when official will take them to start. Field event athletes will check-in at their venue 30 minutes prior to start.
Warm-ups will be allowed on infield away from the roped off discus aread and backside of track when not in use, but please do not set up camp with your team in the infield. Athletes must have a Milesplit time for seeding in fast heat.
Event check-in will be at the start of each event. Athletes must arrive 5 minutes prior to their event.

9:00 am: Girls Long Jump
9:00 am: Boys High Jump
Will swap when the first round is finished. Triple Jump will start when Boys Long Jump is finished.
