WILLCO Middle School Track and Field Championship 2025
Hello Coaches,
We are excited to host this year's Williamson County Middle School Track and Field Championship. This will be a fun and competitive meet and a great final tune up as your teams move forward to subs and or Sectionals the next week. I apologize for not having this information for you sooner. Here is some info for planning and to share with your team.
Team Eligibility: This meet is open to all middle school track and field teams in Williamson County.
Team Entry Fee: There will be no team fees for this meet.
Meet Dates: Monday, April 21 - Running Prelims; Tuesday, April 22 - Field Events; Wednesday, April 23 - Running Finals. See below for a complete schedule of events.
Meet Location: Fairview High School
Spectators: $5 admission for adult and school age spectators. There will also be concessions available. Cash only
Parking: Parking is limited by the ball fields and track but there is additional parking behind the school off King Road. Please only park in designated parking areas.
Team Tents:Teams can set up anywhere outside the track or in the stands.
Event Entries: All meet entries must be submitted online through tn.milesplit. The deadline to enter is 11pm Sunday, April 20th.
Heat Sheets: We plan to seed Monday morning and will have heat sheets out that afternoon and they will be available at the coaches meeting.
Events: We will run all standard middle school events but will also add the 4 x 800 meter relay and Pole Vault to this meet.
Coaches Help Needed: Each team will be asked to help at a field event on Tuesday and possibly at an exchange zone on Monday and Wednesday. We would like to preassign these roles. If you would like to help at a particular field event, please e-mail your first and second choice to me by Sunday night. I will do my best. No guarantees for assignments.
Student Athlete limit: No athlete may exceed 3 events regardless of type (field, running, or relay).
Team Limits: 3 entries per event. Only one Relay team. All prelims will run on Monday. We will run the top 8 in each running event on finals day Wednesday. We anticipate all relays qualifying to Wednesday finals but will let you know late Sunday or early Monday morning if any relay will need a prelim on Monday.
Scoring: Only the top 3 and A team relays will be scored per team for meet scoring.
Awards: This is a free meet and there are no individual or team awards. Darien Joines usually handles this and I will let you all know his plans for awards as soon as I hear from him.
Results: Results will be posted at the concessions for review at the conclusion of each race and final results will be posted to milesplit after the meet.

Day #1 - Monday, April 21, 2025 - Running Event Prelims
Coaches Meeting - 4:45pm at the finish line.
Running Events will begin at 5:00pm
Monday has always been:
Hurdles
4x100 (If needed)
GIRLS 800 Run
100
4x200 (If needed)
400
BOYS 800 Run
200
4x400 (if needed)
With everything snake ordered for heats.
The 1600 and 4x800 have always gone straight to Wednesday.
Then Wednesday is back to the normal schedule with 4x800 first, the 800 runs together again, etc.
Day #2 - Tuesday, April 22, 2025 - Field Events
Coaches Meeting - 4:45pm at the finish line.
Field Events - begins at 5:00pm 3 Attempts each
First Flight:
Girls Shot, Girls Pole Vault, and Girls High Jump / Boys Discus and Boys Long Jump
Second Flight:
Boys Shot, Boys Pole Vault, and Boys High Jump / Girls Discus and Long Jump
Day #3 - Wednesday, April 23, 2025 - Running Event Finals * top 8
Coaches Meeting - 4:45pm at the finish line.

100/110 Hurdles
100 Meter Dash
4 x 200 Meter Relay
1600 Meter ( No prelims, so everyone will run)
