Zion Christian Academy is located 7-miles southwest of Columbia, Tennessee in Maury County. We are a TSIAA affiliated private school, and the Zxc team is a MSCCA member. We are a small but growing team, and we host races on our campus every year. Like you, we look forward to another great season of cross country!

Search MileSplit for the other events if interested. Ideal participants would be from Maury, Hickman, Lewis, Lawrence, Giles & Marshall counties in southern Middle Tennessee. We welcome XC teams/individuals from public and private schools, school affiliated clubs and even homeschoolers. Our meets consist of Middle School (2-mile) and High School (5000m) divisions for both Girls and Boys.

We have a great track with a few unique details. Mostly a single loop course for middle schoolers, with a double back on the 3rd mile for high schoolers. Loop is 95% grass, with some slight pavement crossings and a single wooden bridge over a small creek. Running mostly in hay fields and wooded areas on well mowed grass running lanes that are roughly 6-foot wide. Plenty of room for passing. First 1/3 of race is mostly up-hill, middle 2/3 is mostly downhill and last .25-mile is back uphill. Spikes recommended because of early morning dew. Course starts and ends on the Zion football field and is well marked with painted lines and volunteers.

Plenty of room for team tents & chairs on the football field. Parents can also join in at the football field area or sit in the stands. Friends, family and coaches can view runners at the start, end and roughly mile 1.25 from the field/stands area. We do not allow spectators to follow runners on the upper course (first 1.25 miles) but there are several additional spots to view runners on the lower course (1.25-3.1). Public restrooms available.

• Race is FREE but we do take donations on race day from coaches and spectators to help the program. We appreciate your support.

• Football field opens at 7am for team set-ups.

• Middle School race begins promptly at 8am.

• High school race will begin after completion of middle school race (roughly 8:30am)

• Depending on number of registrants, boys & girls may run at same time.

• Awards immediately following (top 5 boys and top 5girls for both MS & HS)
