THIS MEET IS FULL
  1. Thursday, March 7. Blackman High School Opener. 
  2. Larry Smith is timing. 
  3. Entry fee. $75.00. Make checks payable to Blackman High School. 
  4. The weather - long term - looks to be 60 degrees for the high and 47 degrees for the low. 
  5. Entries are open on Tennessee Milesplit until midnight Sunday night.
  6. The plan for the day. 
    4pm Coaches Meeting
    4:15. Field events open
    4:30 Field events begin. 
    1. Boys shot then Girls Shot
      Girls disc then Boys Disc
      Boys high jump then Girls high jump
      Girls long jump then Boys long jump
  7. 4:30 Running events begin. Girls then Boys
    1. Pentathlon Hurdles
      100 Meters (NOTE this has been added)
      800 Meters
      100/110 Hurdles
      400 Meters
      200 Meters
      3200 Meters
      Pentathlon 800 
      1. NOTE - I would like to know ASAP if anyone has anyone, boys or girls, who wants to try the pentathlon. 
    2. Pentathlon Events

      Long Jump
      High Jump
      Shot Put

  8. Bathrooms. I think the water will be turned on by next Thursday. If not, the plan is to have a couple of porta potties. 
  9. This night is also our freshman orientation. That event begins later in the evening, but be aware that there will be a crowd. 
  10. Check in table will be on the infield. 
  11. Athletes may warm up on the infield. Athletes will not be allowed to hand out or loiter on the infield. Also, only athletes and coaches on the infield. 
  12. There are no awards. 
    The entry fee at the gate is five dollars. This is for anyone middle school or older.
