Middle School Teams Only Event

We are committed to running smooth meets, we will run on schedule. I hope to see you all out on the track with us. 

We now have two long jump pits, 2 shot put rings, and 2 discus cages.

This meet will be open events only. No Relays

The meet will begin at 9:30 am.

Entry Fee is $50.00 per team which includes both genders.

Mail check ahead or bring check on the day of the meet.

Track and Field

The gate fee is 5 dollars(this goes for school aged children).

The meet will be timed with a FAT system.

This meet is designed to get all athletes individual times/marks in the Open Events and Field Events.

Relays will not be contested.

Each team is allowed up to 6 athletes per open running event and 4 athletes per open field event. B and C teams will be allowed for an additional entry fee of $50 per team.

Plaques for the boys and girls champions.

Ribbons for 1st - 5th in each event.

Coaches, be sure to pick up ribbons/plaques at the end of the meet. 

If your athlete does not have a FAT time, place a hand time for their seed time. Do NOT put 1, 2, 3 as seed times.

3 events max per competitor.

A false start will be a disqualification.

Athletes will not be allowed on the infield unless being escorted by a clerking official.

Athletes should report to the clerk of course to check in after the first call has been given.

Entries must be submitted by 7pm on 02/29/24.

There will be a brief coaches meeting before the meet at 9:00 AM.

The following guidelines will be in place to run an efficient meet with many heats. 

Athletes must stay off the infield unless they are being escorted by an official.

Once athletes sign in, they will not be allowed to leave the staging area. 

Field events will check in at their event area, not at the clerk.

Officials will not wait for an athlete if they are not in the staging area. 

Teams/Athletes will be scratched 1 minute after the third and final call. 

Officials will escort heats to the start lines from the athlete staging area. 

Blocks will not be provided for middle school meets. 

No "run outs" will be allowed in hurdles.

False starts will be a disqualification.

Scoring will be as follows: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1

For races that finish in lanes, (Hurdles, 100m, 200m, 400m) competitors will need to walk back to the finish line and stand on the number in their lane until told to exit the track by an official. This will save time if athletes are aware of this ahead of time. 

For races that finish in lane 1, (800m, 1600m) competitors will run into the chute in the order they finish after passing the finish line. Athletes will remain in the chute until they are told by an official to exit the chute. 

800m and 1600m racers will wear two numbers on the LEFT side. One number on the LEFT chest, the other on the LEFT hip, hip numbers should be on the side of the athletes not the front please.
