Meet Information
Hardin County-Horse Creek Invitational 2023
Tuesday, August 29, 2023
@4: 30 pm (Varsity Boys first)
Hardin County Invitational is run on the beautiful Horsecreek Wildlife and Animal Sanctuary in Savannah, TN. The 5k course winds through the 1000-plus acres of land that follows Horse Creek, runs over a covered bridge, and finishes at an original pioneer cabin. The surface is decomposed gravel, dirt, grass, and asphalt. The course is known for its flat course UNTIL you get to "The Hill" at the 1-mile marker. Spikes are not recommended.
Bring your lawn chairs, frisbees, and running shoes to enjoy this wildlife and animal refuge. The only downside is the lack of consistent cell phone service. This would be a good time to use the walkie-talkies that you have been storing for years.
