Coaches,
Thank you all for registering to attend our meet at West Ridge High School next Tuesday, April 25th.
Here are some guidelines for the meet:
* We will have a coach's meeting 4:15 pm.
* We will start the field events at 4:30 pm. We will start running events immediately after field events conclude. Field Events order - 1st round: Girls SP, Boys D, Girls HJ, Boys LJ ; 2nd Round: Boys SP, Girls D, Boys HJ, Girls LJ
* Minimum requirements for shot/discus: Girls SP 20 ft, Girls D 50 ft, Boys SP 30 ft, Boys D 70ft
* Opening height in the girls HJ is 4'0", and boys HJ is 4'4"
* Running events will go in normal meet order
* Limit of 3 entries per individual event, 1 relay team per relay; no athlete may have more than 3 events.
* There will NOT be an open event for runners, such as the open 100, 800, etc.
* This will be a hand-timed meet.
* You still need to register athletes via tnmilesplit, to speed up the process of lining athletes up, writing names down, etc. Online registration will close on Tuesday, April 24th at midnight
* All coaches will need to run a field event - we will decide which event each school will run when we all arrive.
* All coaches will need a stop watch and coaches will be used to time heats.
* SCMS Coach Jared Harrison will be the finish line recorder. All other coaches are expected to time events.
* SCMS Coach Steve Fischer will line athletes up and be the starter
* SCMS Staff member Cheryl Buchanan will be the scorekeeper
* There will be a $5 for adults/$2 for students gate fee.
* There will NOT be concessions at this event.
