St. Mary's School is hosting it's first (and hopefully annual) cross country meet. This meet is for smaller enrollment schools in the Tri-Cities area, and it is intended to have less than 100 runners per race. Teams will run a loop course on the school grounds. The loop is one mile, so middle school teams will run the loop twice for a 2 mile total distance, and elementary teams will run the loop once for a 1 mile distance.
Payment should be brought to the meet in the form of a check. Cost is $35 per race with $75 max total if you have teams in all three races. If you don't have a full 7+ person team, individuals can sign up for $5 per runner. Teams can have as many runners as you want, but only the first seven runners will be counted for points. If enough schools don't have enough runners for regular scoring, teams may be changed to have top 3 runners scoring with next 2 being pushers.

Ribbons will be given to the top 10 places in each middle school race, and the top 10 boys and top 10 girls in the elementary race. Also, two championship trophies will be given out to the winning middle school teams.
This meet will be the first time we host a meet, so please bear with us if we mess something up.
The race will start and finish on the soccer field to the left as you enter the church driveway. The green line will be where runners start. At the end of the first lap, runners will follow the blue path, which connects them back into the course for the second lap. At the end of the second lap, runners will follow the yellow path diagonally across the field to finish at the black line. The course is 2 miles for the middle school races. The course will be very similar for the elementary race, but the runners will only run one lap, and they will turn a little earlier to connect to the yellow path and finish at the same black line. The course is 1 mile for the elementary race.
Please park in the large lots marked with the Ps on the map. Do NOT park in the grass. There are a limited number of parking spots adjacent to the soccer field, but these are reserved for the timing crew and one vehicle per team dropping off tents, drinks, and other supplies. Team tents can be set up along the far side of the field from the driveway between the start and finish lines. Restrooms are located in the lobby of the church.
