This race is a qualifier for the TMSAA State Cross Country Championships. All entrants in this race must be a member of a TMSAA School. Only 6th-8th graders will be allowed to participate. The top 4 teams will qualify for the TMSAA State Championships. Individually, the top 7 runners NOT on qualifying teams will qualify as individuals.
The following AA schools will participate at this qualifier.
There will be a fee of $50 for a girls' team and $50 for a boys' team for each school that participates in the championship series. Check with your school administration to see if this was paid with your school's membership in August. This can be reviewed on the school ledger on the TSSAA Portal.
This is your TSSAA fee, you will not pay Dickson County HS/MS any money to compete.
You can submit 10 names but only 7 will run in the Varsity Division
AA Boys Varsity: 9:00am
AA Girls Varsity 9:40am
Combined JV: 10:20am (coaches will time their own athletes; the race video will also be uploaded to YouTube)
Awards: 10:55am
1st and 2nd Place teams receive trophies
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place runners receive medals
