NFHS Order of Events

6:45 estimated time Meet Concludes

Top 4 advance from each event. Qualifiers will compete at Fairview on 5/12. 7 At-Large qualifiers from both sections.

Coaches will be assigned to 1 field event area. I will take requests shortly.  We will also ask for help with the exchange zones.

We have a six lane track. Everything is section vs. time.  The infield is recessed. Athletes should not exit off the track down the slope. They will fall. In the 4x800 and 4x400 with the 3rd and 4th legs, if it is tight we have to spread the exchanges out a little wider and athletes should remain in lane 1 after handoffs and clear after it is safe to do so.

We will race the best together, worst to best with full lanes.

Relay zones are normal 30m zones. Gold 4x100. Red 4x200. Blue 4x400.

Field Event Order of Events (# of Flights and estimated start times. Girl's Jumps have very small numbers, so I think we can get LJ and TJ done before boys finish HJ. There are a lot of boys doing both. So, I moved that order a little. The boy's throws having two flights should be okay as long as the first flight of boys finish discus and head over to shot. That will keep it moving. If some of the 1st flight shot putters are in second flight of discus, I am in favor of moving the to the second flight and keeping this thing moving.
