2:15 Coaches' Meeting

FIELD EVENTS

Check In at the Field Event Venue

Pole Vault- Automatic Qualifiers with Minimum Verifiable Standarmove on to Section 2 Meet with minimum verified standards of Girls-6 Feet, Boys 7 Feet

2:00 Begin Weigh ins for throwing implements

3:00 - All Field Events Begin

Round 1 Rotate Events on PA Call

GIRLS- Discus, Long Jump

BOYS- Shot Put, High Jump
Triple Jump on PA Call

RUNNING EVENTS- Girls then Boys - All Races will be Section VS Tim

CHECK IN for Running Events at the benches aka Bullpen.  Athletes need to listen for the calls.  Go at FIRST CALL.  Athletes will stay in the bullpen area but may warmup/stretch in that area.  They will be escorted to the events except for Hurdles.  Hurdlers may check in and then go warmup at the hurdle area BUT remain there until race time/Third Call.

4:00PM - 4x800 Relay

5:00PM - Remaining Running Events starting with 100/110 Hurdles - Rolling Schedule

General Information:



* ENTRY FEE- $25.00 per gender team as agreed upon at Section Meeting = $50.00 per school. This is to help pay for the TSSAA official, Athletic Trainers, Coaches' Hospitality Center, and security.


* Advancement- The top 4 individuals and relay teams in each event will advance to the TSSAA D1 Section 2 AAA Meet which will be held at Cookeville High School, Thursday, May 10.



* Registration- If you manually enter a seed time to get in the meet, they will be seeded according to verifiable performances only. All No Marks (which there should be none at this point) will be placed in slowest heats for running events or placed at the bottom of field events.


* Please provide coaches to work Field Events and Relay Zones. There are only 5 teams so we will assign one team per Field Event. We will also assign Zone judges. Rhea County will be working the Exchange Zone for 4x400 and 4x800 as well as one of the Zones for 4x100.

* There will be 2 Trainers on duty
     * There will be a $5 admission for all spectators. Ten and under will be free.
* Coaches' Hospitality Center- Coaches only
