Metro Nashville Freshman City Meet 2022

ELIGIBILITY: Middle Tennessee schools (FRESHMAN BOYS ONLY). All freshman (9th grade or below) registered with the TSSAA as varsity track athletes or registered as junior division track athletes. We will go by the current TSSAA event limitations which is 4 events per athlete. If you are not sure about the rule, please ask!

ENTRY FEE: $40.00 per team. Make checks payable to Montgomery Bell Academy and mail to Bill Compton, MBA, 4001 Harding Road, Nashville, Tn 37205 by Wednesday, April 23, 2022. You may fax your entry to Bill Compton at 615-297-0271, but please go ahead and mail the check ahead of time. You may print out this website and use it for an invoice.

ENTRY Entries will be on Mile Split this year and the entry site will close down at 9 PM on Wed, April 20 for entering your team.

TIME SCHEDULE: April 25 (Monday)

3:45: Field event finals

5:00: Running event finals

AWARDS: Medals for the first 5 finishers in each individual event and medals for the top three teams in each relay. There will be trophies for the team champion and team runner-up.

ENTRIES: Each team may enter two entries per individual event (excluding relays).

5:25 4 X 800 RELAY (ONE FINAL HEAT)

5:35 100 (SECTIONS VS TIMES)

5:50 1600 (ONE FINAL HEAT)

6:00 4 X 200 RELAY (SECTIONS VS TIME IF NEEDED)

6:15 400 (SECTIONS VS TIMES)

6:25 800 (SECTIONS VS TIME IF NEEDED)

6:35 200 (SECTIONS VS TIMES)

6:50 4 X 400 RELAY (SECTIONS VS TIME IF NEEDED)

THE MEET WILL BE RUN ON THESE TIMES (REMEMBER NO GIRLS AND FEWER TEAMS) AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, SO PLEASE CONSIDER THE ALLOCATION OF YOUR PERSONNEL ACCORDINGLY. IT MAY RUN AHEAD OF SCHEDULE ALSO!

IF THERE ARE MORE THAN 8 RELAY TEAMS IN THE 400, 800, & 1600 RELAYS, WE WILL RUN SECTIONS VS TIMES IN THE FINALS.
