Meet Information
LOCATION: USN River Campus (1200 County Hospital Rd, Nashville, TN 37218)
MEET SCHEDULE:
- Coaches Meeting: 3:30 pm
- 7/8 Girls: 4:15 pm
- 7/8 Boys: 4:45 pm
- 5/6 (co-ed): 5:15 pm
TIMING: We will be piloting our FAT system for these first few meets. We plan to use the regular season meets to train our staff so that we'll be ready to go for the HVAC Championship meets at the end of September. Please plan to hand-time each of your runners as back up. All runners will receive a bib number and pins to assist with the identification and timing process.
SCORING: We will be using index cards for team scoring. Each coach will be asked to complete a score sheet (see attached) for their top 7 runners and return it to the timing tent asap following each race. Printed copies will be provided in your meet packets at pick up.
FACILITIES: Bathroom facilities are available on site, along with several portable restrooms. We will also have water coolers available near the start/finish. Teams are welcome to set up a team tent within the space designated on the map.
VOLUNTEERS: The saying "it takes a village" has never been more true. If you can plan to have a coach or adult volunteer on hand to assist guiding athletes at the finish etc. that would be much appreciated! We are better together!
