Competitor's Information

1. Each team is allowed to enter 3 athletes in the individual events and 1 relay event.

2. All athletes must report to their event area or the clerk's table upon hearing the "First Call" of their race. If an athlete is late, meaning after roll is called or after "Third Call" they can be disqualified.

3. If a competitor is in a field event and their race is called, they may leave to participate in the running event and return to the field event once their race is over. The only exception to this rule is the high jump. Once the athlete leaves the high jump, upon their return, they must enter at the height it is currently at. The bar cannot be moved back to a previous height.

4. There shall be no "trash talking" or showboating at any time, before, during, or after the event. If there is an occurrence in which an athlete is showboating, it will be determined that the athlete in question will be disqualified. Good sportsmanship shall be expected from all participants.

5. No athlete may knowingly enter more than 3 events, including field events, relays, as an alternate, and races.

6. No athlete may substitute for another athlete. If there is an injury, the only substituting shall be in the relays due to the alternate runner.  Coaches can discuss this further at the coaches meeting.

7. This is a school event, so there will be no foul language of any kind at the meet.

8. During relay events, all athletes must be wearing identical uniforms and compressions (if possible). This is based upon the requirements that are enforced at the Sectional Meet in Whitehaven.

9. If not participating in a race, the competitor shall be in their team area.

10. All athletes competing must be wearing their competition uniform on the track unless they've been given permission due to weather. Throwers and jumpers can wear warm ups as long as they're displaying school colors on them. No street clothes, please.

Coaches Information

1. Please have your entries with their best time, jump, or throw included. If not due to our limited season, please include an "A" for your faster athlete and a "B" for the other.  The race times or "A B" labels are especially important. This determines their lane assignment and heat.

2. All athletes will conduct themselves with proper behavior during the event and after.

3. The maximum amount of events any athlete can compete in is 3.

4. There shall be no substituting after the registration is closed.

5. In regard to qualifiers for sectionals, all coaches are responsible for registering their qualifiers to the sectionals.

6. If there is an issue with an event, the complaint needs to be written and submitted to the director of the meet as soon as possible.

7. Once the 1st call goes out for a race, the athlete may enter the field and register for the race. If they are not involved in a race, that athlete may not enter the track area. If athletes are found in the field, they can
