Meet Information
The meet will begin at 4:00
Teams need to arrive at 3:15 so we can do temperature checks
SPECTATORS - I will be sending an e-mail to you with tickets that you can print out and sell to any of your parents who would like to come to the meet. Each athlete is permitted two tickets. They are $5.00 each. Please bring the money that you collect for the tickets with you to the meet. Also, please keep a count of how many tickets you sell and let me know either the day before the meet or the day of the meet
PLEASE LET YOUR PARENTS KNOW THAT IF THEY DO NOT PURCHASE THE TICKET IN ADVANCE AND BRING IT WITH THEM TO THE MEET THEY WILL NOT GET IN. WE WILL NOT BE SELLING TICKETS AT THE MEET. THIS KEEPS THE INDIVIDUALS AT THE GATE WHO ARE TAKING TEMPERTURES, ETC., FROM HAVING TO HANDLE MONEY.
THEY WILL SHOW THE TICKET TO THE VOLUNTEERS AT THE GATE AND DROP IT IN A BOX. PLEASE ASK ANY OF YOUR PARENTS WHO ARE COMING TO TRY AND GET TO THE MEET NO LATER THAN 4:15 OR 4:30 SO MY PARENT VOLUNTEERS CAN FINISH THE TEMPERTURE CHECKS AND BE ABLE TO WATCH THEIR KIDS COMPETE
TEMPERTURE CHECKS AND QUESTIONNAIRE FOR SPECTATORS - LET YOUR PARENTS THAT ARE COMING KNOW THAT THEY MUST BRING THEIR CELL PHONE WITH THEM. WHEN THEY GET TO THE GATE WHICH IS THE GATE AT THE PARKING LOT BEHIND THE FIELD HOUSE, THE Y WILL SEE A BAR CODE ATTACHED TO THE FENCE. THERE ARE TWO ATTACHED TO THE FENCE SO USE EITHER ONE.
THEY NEED TO OPEN THEIR CAMERA ON THEIR PHONE, POINT IT AT THE BARCODE, AND A PROMPT WILL APPEAR ON THEIR SCREEN. THEY WILL CLICK ON THE PROMPT AND A LIST OF QUESTIONS WILL COME UP. THEY WILL NEED TO ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS BEFORE BEING ALLOWED TO ENTER.
MY PARENTS AT THE GATE WILL EXPLAIN THIS TO YOU BUT I JUST WANTED TO GIVE YOU A HEADS UP ABOUT HOW IT'S DONE. WHEN ENTERING THEIR PHONE NUMBER ON THE QUESTIONNAIRE THEY MUST ENTER IT IN THIS FORMAT WITH THE DASHES (XXX-XXX-XXXX). IF THEY DON'T PUT THE DASHES IN IT WON'T WORK

Seating for spectators will be in the middle of the bleachers on the visitors side only. They need to sit between the yellow caution tape. The corners of the bleachers are the reserved areas for the teams
$50.00 entry fee. Please bring payment to the meet
Each team (athletes and coaches) will be screened (temperature checked, etc.) when entering the track
Each team will have an assigned area where they must stay unless warming up or competing in an event, cooling down, or using the restroom
Each team will also have an assigned area for warmup/cooldown. This area will be next to your teams assigned seating area. I will send out a map of the track to coaches that will show you your seating and warmup/cooldown area
MASKS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES UNLESS WARMING UP OR COMPETING IN AN EVENT. ONCE YOUR EVENT IS OVER YOU MUST PUT YOUR MASK BACK ON. FAILURE TO WEAR MASKS WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION FROM THE MEET AND BEING ASKED TO LEAVE THE TRACK
Coaches must wear your masks at all times
Coaches will be required to help at the meet. I will send out work assignments no later than the day before the meet
Only athletes and coaches are permitted on the track. No parents or spectators are permitted on the track. Parents or spectators must stay in the bleachers
Athletes are only allowed at an event if they are competing in that event. If you are not competing in an event you must stay in your teams assigned area
Only coaches will move hurdles
We will only be running three per heat in the sprint events (55 dash and hurdles, 300 meters)
After starting blocks are used in a heat they will be sprayed (disinfected) and will not be touched for two minutes.
Each field event will be set up for social distancing. I will show the coaches at each field event at the meet so you can let the kids know how it works
If there are too many athletes in a particular field event we will do them in flights. I don't foresee having to do this but we will if we have to
If an athlete is competing in more than one field event and they are going on at the same time, they must complete one field event before going to the other. No running back and forth from one field event to the other. Just have your athlete check in at both field events before deciding which one to do first
All entries must be done online. You cannot change your entries after the deadline
The only thing you can do the day of the meet is scratch someone. You cannot add anyone to an event
If you're not sure if one of your athletes can be at the meet, please go ahead and enter them into their events. You can scratch them at the meet if they can't be there
Athletes will not report to their running event until they hear the second call
Results will not be posted or announced at the meet. They will be posted live on milestat. Just go to the calendar page on milestat and click on the meet and you can check the results as the meet is going on
There will be no concessions
